Although progress has been made in the fight against poverty, many women still live on extremely low incomes or have no income at all. To address this, we launched a project aimed at supporting these women by providing awareness, skills, and resources to help grow their small businesses. Our goal is to empower women to become financially independent and capable of supporting their families.
TBBF is currently supporting 18 women from the Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, and Dodoma regions. These women require financial assistance to grow their small businesses. While they share similar business ideas, they operate independently. Their businesses primarily involve producing and selling homemade snacks, food items, and bites using locally sourced ingredients and tools, as well as sewing and creating batik fabrics.
We believe women are powerful when given the tools they need. By supporting underprivileged women entrepreneurs, providing training, and encouraging them to persevere despite challenges, we can help them reach their full potential.
