Irene Boyd is an Economics graduate with almost 6 years of diverse work experience, with a particular focus on grants management. She also holds a current master’s degree in project management, driven by a deep interest in understanding project dynamics and promoting sustainable development goals, particularly in the areas of gender and development for marginalized communities in Tanzania.
Since the age of 16, Irene has been actively involved in volunteering with various youth groups. This experience has fueled her aspirations to create a community that prioritizes the safety and well-being of its members, especially young women, and encourages them to envision themselves as agents of change.
As the Executive Secretary of The Brighter Binti Foundation, Irene brings her expertise in economics, project management, and a passion for social impact. She is committed to advancing the mission of the foundation, working towards a future where all individuals have equal opportunities to thrive and contribute to their communities.
